(Omaha, NE) -- A preliminary report is released in connection with an incident that left an Omaha police helicopter damaged. The police department's Able One helicopter had just taken off from the Omaha North Airport on April 16th when it experienced a partial loss of engine power. No one was injured when the pilot landed the helicopter in a field, but the aircraft suffered a damaged tail boom.
