(New York, NY) -- Undefeated Omaha world welterweight champion Terence Crawford stopped former junior welterweight champion Amir Khan in the sixth round of their title bout at Madison Square Garden. Crawford knocked down the British boxer in the first round and dominated the match. The end came when Crawford accidentally hit Khan with a low blow in the sixth round and after a five-minute break, Khan's corner opted not to send him out for more punishment. Crawford improved to 35-and-0 with 26 knockouts.
