New details are being revealed in the case of a man who is accused of planting a fake bomb in downtown Omaha.  Prosecutors say 25-year-old Thomas Trouba had 863 pounds of marijuana, more than 400-thousand-dollars in cash and other drugs when he was arrested.  Surveillance footage shows Trouba allegedly placing two suspicious packages outside the courthouse last Friday.  Bond in the case has been set at two-million-dollars.

A bomb squad and military experts had to be called to a northeastern Nebraska museum after live ordnance — including a World War II grenade and two artillery shells — were found in a museum storeroom. The Norfolk Daily News reports that staff at the Elkhorn Valley Museum in Norfolk discovered the grenade, ammunition and ordnance on Wednesday, shut down the museum and called Norfolk police. Officers were unable to determine if the vintage ordnance was live and called the Nebraska State Patrol bomb squad.

SNYDER, Neb. (AP) — The Nebraska State Patrol says its bomb squad destroyed a live grenade found in a newly-bought truck in eastern Nebraska.
