(Ogallala, NE) -- A portion of Interstate-80 in western Nebraska is closed in anticipation of a blizzard. The Nebraska State Patrol announced this morning I-80 westbound is closed at Ogallala and travel on secondary roads in the area is not advised. Snow in the western part of the state is expected to kick in around five o'clock tonight and one to three inches could fall by tomorrow morning. Blowing snow is also expected to causes limited visibility.
