The U.S. Olympic Swim Trials in Omaha this summer will be split in half due to COVID-19. USA Swimming says Wave 1 will be on June 4th through the 7th and Wave 2 on June 13th through the 20th. The organization says Wave 2 will be the sole qualifier for the Olympic Games in Tokyo. USA Swimming says the decision was made to reduce overcrowding in the arena and to provide a safer environment for the athletes.
