Bill Introduced To Raise Vaping Age

Mar 6, 2019

(Lincoln, NE)  --  Some state lawmakers are pushing a bill that would increase the vaping age in Nebraska from 18 to 21.  One senator in favor of the bill says teenagers are bringing vaping products to schools which is resulting in an increase in code of conduct violations.  Those against the bill say it will hurt 18, 19, and 20-year-olds who use e-cigarettes to try to quit smoking.
