(Ashland, NE) -- The National Guard and Nebraska Task Force One are practicing rescuing flood victims. Reports say crews trained at Camp Ashland using flood-damaged buildings scheduled to be demolished yesterday. Helicopters flew over houses and identify flood victims before a second helicopter would come through and perform the mock rescue. The National Guard rescued more than 100 people within the first two days of flooding that began back in March.
