First Covid-19 Death In Iowa; Nebraska reaches 66 Confirmed Cases

The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) has announced the first death associated with novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The individual was an older adult, 61-80 years of age, and a resident of Dubuque County. Four new cases were confirmed in Nebraska yesterday, bringing the state total to 66.  Two of the cases involved residents at an assisted living facility in Blair.  A third COVID-19 case is confirmed in Lancaster County.  Officials announced yesterday that the new case involves a man in his 50s.  The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department is investigating the patient's travel history and his close contacts.
