(Kearney, NE) -- Flooding is forcing evacuations in Kearney. Up to four inches of rain fell in Kearney late Monday night and early yesterday morning leading to evacuations of hotels in the area of Second and Talmadge. Emergency shelters for displaced tourists and residents were set up at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Kearney police helped more than two dozen stranded drivers during the storm.
