Tens-of-thousands of dollars are pouring into the United Way of Midlands for flood recovery. Governor Pete Ricketts joined the India Association of Nebraska and Hindu Temple yesterday to present a 54-thousand-dollar check to the United Way. WOWT reports the money was raised during a three-hour luncheon back in March. Ricketts says Nebraska has received about 60-million dollars in financial aid since the flooding started but he estimates the state has about 85-million dollars worth of damage.
