An annual celebration in Council Bluffs is cancelled for the second year in a row. City officials have announced that the Loessfest celebration has been called off again. Council Bluffs Mayor Matt Walsh says the event was cancelled because officials weren't sure where the city would be by Memorial Day of this year, and acts must be booked several months in advance. Loessfest has been held at Council Bluffs' River's Edge Park since 2013.
