KIOS heads into 2020 bidding farewell to a pair of public radio institutions and welcoming a new addition to its weekend program line-up.

Robert Krulwich is retiring from 15 years as co-host of Radiolab in January of 2020 with a special tribute episode late that month.  Radiolab will continue with Jad Abumrad.  You can read more here.

Studio 360 ends production in late February with the retirement of host, author, and Omaha native Kurt Andersen.  We have more here.

Replacing Studio 360 in the Saturday line up is Live Wire.  Hosted by stand up comedian, former NPR host, and host of the podcast Too Beautiful to Live, Luke Burbank, the show is a weekly, hour-long variety program that for 15 years has brought friends and artists together to celebrate and capture the intimacy and energy of live theater for radio listeners everywhere.  You can find out more about Live Wire here.
