Celebrating the Nebraska Science Fest

Join the Omaha Public Library as it celebrates the Nebraska Science Fest happening throughout the month of April. Check out what events are happening at your branch by visiting omahalibrary.org. We also have Mark Sorenson giving a book talk on When We Were Birds by Ayanna Lloyd Banwo.

David first started broadcasting at his hometown radio station in Holdrege, Nebraska while still in high school. He went on to earn journalism and law degrees from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, served as an officer in the U.S. Army, and has worked for radio and television stations across the United States. He is a big advocate for community media and loves being a part of the local fabric of NPR. He also has a cat, Pickles.
