Friends of the Omaha Public Library Book Sales

Friends of Omaha Public Library is a volunteer run nonprofit dedicated to raising money for Omaha Public Library, providing volunteers, and promoting the library to the greater community. Part of that support comes from the funds they raise through their book sales at the W. Clarke Swanson Branch every Thursday and first Saturday of the month both from 10am-3pm. We also have Amy Wenzel book talk The Girl with All the Gifts by Mike Carey.

David Koesters

David started in broadcasting at his hometown radio station in Holdrege, Nebraska while still in high school. He went on to earn journalism and law degrees from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and has worked for a number of radio and television stations around the United States. He is a big advocate for community media and loves being a part of the local fabric of NPR. He also has a cat.
