Gaming with Kids

Things get a little wild as kids demonstrate good sportsmanship while socializing and playing games together.

Special thanks to Kaleb and Spielbound Board Game Cafe for sharing their space and expertise. And thanks to the four young ones for teaching me how to play Ticket to Ride, even though it did not have any cats.

David Koesters

David first started broadcasting at his hometown radio station in Holdrege, Nebraska while still in high school. He went on to earn journalism and law degrees from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, served as an officer in the U.S. Army, and has worked for radio and television stations across the United States. He is a big advocate for community media and loves being a part of the local fabric of NPR. He also has a cat, Pickles.
