The Omaha Public Library joins the Omaha Symphony for Rooted Stories. Go on a musical journey exploring the history of Omaha through the lens of the Omaha Public Library. It is an all-ages, free symphony performance on April 12th at 7pm at the Omaha Conservatory of Music. Plus, Nicole Hilder tell us about the book Worried Whippet by Jess Bolton.

David Koesters

David first started broadcasting at his hometown radio station in Holdrege, Nebraska while still in high school. He went on to earn journalism and law degrees from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, served as an officer in the U.S. Army, and has worked for radio and television stations across the United States. He is a big advocate for community media and loves being a part of the local fabric of NPR. He also has a cat, Pickles.
