Michael Griffin on '27 Club' and Using Comedy to Influence Community Change

Michael Griffin is a comedian and community health program manager at Nebraska Medicine. His comedy special "27 Club," filmed at Culxr House in June, is available on YouTube.

Michael Griffin talks with Tom Knoblauch about merging the hard questions with entertainment through his comedy special, "27 Club," which was filmed at Culxr House and is available now on YouTube.

Griffin grew up in Omaha and received a master of public health degree from Emory University. He also works as a community health program manager at Nebraska Medicine.

Courtney is back in her hometown after graduating from the University of Kansas in 2019 with degrees in journalism and film. While at KU, she was the arts and culture editor of the University Daily Kansan and had a summer internship at KCUR, Kansas City's NPR member station. She has three pet rats and has seen almost every Audrey Hepburn movie.
